Start a new round
Open NUMO DUEL and choose Play. You can enter a Quick Match against another player, create a private room for a friend, battle an AI rival or attempt a solo sprint. For online modes both players need an active internet connection. For solo and AI modes, the game can run without a multiplayer connection.
Choose the right difficulty
Easy, Medium and Hard offer different number ranges and operations. Set a 30, 60 or 90 second round depending on whether you want a quick challenge or more time to find a rhythm. You can switch between addition, subtraction, multiplication and division where the mode supports it. Start with a comfortable difficulty and increase it once you can answer accurately at speed.
Score points with quick answers
Every round shows a math problem and four possible answers. Tap or click the correct one. Correct answers earn points and a speed bonus; incorrect answers cost one heart. You start with three hearts. The match ends when the timer expires, or earlier when the game rules end your attempt.
Invite a friend to play online
- Choose Play with Friends on the Play screen.
- Tap Create Room and copy the six-character invite code.
- Ask your friend to open NUMO DUEL, choose Play with Friends and join using that code.
- Both players receive the same questions. The server checks answers and updates the scores.
Private rooms are intended for two players. Matchmaking pairs players with compatible settings.
Track your progress
The Profile tab keeps local practice stats, achievements and match history. Top Players ranks completed online player-versus-player games by most matches, wins, points, best score and win rate; filters include all time and seven days. Practice sessions do not inflate the verified online ranking.
