# Delete a NUMO DUEL account

This page is for account support and is intentionally excluded from the main search-engine sitemap.

## Request deletion

1. Open [NUMO DUEL account settings](http://localhost:3000/play/index.html?screen=account).
2. Sign in to the relevant account.
3. Select **Delete Account** and follow the confirmation process, including typing DELETE when requested.
4. The operation requires access to the correctly configured online account and backend. Active or unsettled matches may delay deletion.

## Data involved

The deletion process is designed to remove the authenticated account identity, corresponding profile, synced preferences, processed private avatar and that player's owned match rows. Previous opponents may retain their own anonymized results. Local practice data can also be cleared on the device.
